Business Development
HTI participants have access to an on-site business coach for assistance with the following:
- Business strategy development
- Marketing
- Business planning & operations
- Locating start-up funding

RIT's Technology Licensing Office (TLO) provides guidance with technology licensing and assists companies with licensing technologies from RIT. To learn more about TLO visit http://finweb.rit.edu/rmss/tlo/index.html
In addition, RIT HTI has identified external service providers who are interested in supporting HTI venture businesses:
- Legal and Accounting services
- Human Resources
- Banking
Building Furnishings
- Offices are equipped with a desk, a chair, and one filing cabinet
- Additional furniture may be available for a monthly rental fee
- Company name in lobby directory and outside office
- Flex-space is available for light assembly
- Storage space is available on a first come, first served basis (one cubicle per venture client)
- License fee covers building and operating costs including heat, air conditioning, electricity, water, trash service, basic custodial services (see above section), general building maintenance and upkeep
Custodial Services
- Offices are vacuumed once per week and waste baskets are emptied daily
- Additional services are available upon request at a billable hourly rate - one hour minimum per day
Information Technology & Telecomm Infrastructure
- Each office is wired with two data jacks
- Internet access is provided at no cost
- Client is responsible for selecting an e-mail provider, to be billed directly to the client.
- One telephone line is provided at no cost; client is responsible for additional telephone line installations and for selecting a service provider for local and long distance calls, with all charges billed directly to client.
- Computer services (hardware) are available at a billable hourly rate.
- RIT Finance and Administration Services and Technology (FAST) assists with computer set up and connection to network for printing
- An option to contract with RIT FAST to provide computer infrastructure support is available. Support includes server file services, web services, network printing, anti-virus support and server date back-up at a monthly rate
